The Greatest 500cc/MotoGP Rider Of All Time: The Final Four

It's Italy versus America in the final round of our poll to pick the greatest 500cc/MotoGP rider of all time.

In the last round of voting Giacomo Agostini put Freddie Spencer on the trailer by a margin of more than 2 to 1. Valentino Rossi shut out Geoff Duke, with Vale taking all the votes in that bracket. Eddie Lawson edged Mick Doohan. And Kenny Roberts barely nipped Mike Hailwood at the line.

For the main event we have a stellar starting field. Agostini and Rossi represent the best European racers while Lawson and Roberts will carry the flag for the U.S.

Which of these four legends is the best ever? It's a choice we at CGM are glad we don't have to make. You can make yours in the poll on the right side of the page, and be sure to tell us in the comments section why you think your pick deserves to be called the best there ever was. The poll closes at 6 p.m. next Wednesday.
